His mother died early this year and he was in Suffolk in May.  He left London again for Suffolk on 6 July and remained there most of the year, being detained during December by his father's serious illness.\r\n\r\n[G Reynolds, 1973, p. 106]\r\n\r\nThe following is an extract from the text of the entry:\r\n\r\n\tThe inscription has been taken to apply to Overbury Court,  Tewkesbury, Worcestershire, but in 1936 Mr. Robert  Holland-Martin informed the Museum that it was not of that  house, of which he was the owner.  It is of Overbury Hall, at  Layham, near Hadleigh, Suffolk (L. ed.
