The ground is cream and has a self-coloured damask-weave pattern grid pattern woven into it with a leaf emerging diagonally from the corner of each grid square, and a woven self-coloured circular shape in the centre of each square. This is all overlaid by columns of alternately placed pink roses with green foliage which are interspersed with pale blue 'ink blots' in which can be discerned a cream floral shape.
