Some were widely worshipped, while \r\nothers were specific to a particular community or \r\ngeographical area. The feast of the Translation of \r\nSt Dominic on 24 May commemorated the move of \r\nthe saint’s body to a grander tomb in 1233, twelve years \r\nafter his death [left].
