Richardson, Sr (Lugt 2183); Sir J. Reynolds (Lugt 2364); Dyce Bequest 1869\r\n\nLITERATURE <i>Dyce Catalogue </i>no. 234 (as by Jacopo Tintoretto)\r\n\r\nThe old attribution to Tintoretto, maintained till lately, is clearly wrong, though his influence may be present. The drawing may be by a Flemish aritist working in Italy, like Hans Speeckaert. The compostion is reminiscent of Titian’s painting in S.
