It was made using a heat printing process pioneered by textile designer Rebecca Earley. The pattern was made by coating objects with heat-sensitive dyes and then heat-pressing them onto synthetic microfibre fabric. The metal pins conducted heat and created a ‘glow’ effect, as if charged with electricity.\r\nHeat printed polyoctose satin microfibre\r\nMuseum no.
