Supporting inner spokes are wrapped in coloured wools of yellow, buff, green and two pinks. The pattern is reserve dyed and painted with an outer concentric ring of foliage, flowers and birds and an inner concentric ring consisting of a zig-zag of dots over which is a design of foliage, flowers and birds. The background colour is brown, the birds appear in the natural of the original cloth, with outlining in red, and the flowers and foliage in natural, red and green.
