This was part of a group of 25 such total ensembles donated in 1979.\n\nHistorical significance: This extraordinary ensemble is of a type that rarely survives complete. It reflects \"funky\" young style of the period, with novelty accessories of a cheap & cheerful nature.\r\n\r\nNote: While the red plastic Mickey Mouse sunglasses were originally acquired, by 2020 they had sadly crumbled beyond recognition or repair. This is due to plasticisers leaching out, a flaw inherent to the material used, and could not have been reversed or prevented.","historicalContext":"","briefDescription":"1979, British, Koshino, Michiko.
